The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N edge of break in N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 40m) enclosed by earthen bank and external fosse (Wth 2m; D 1m). Bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.6m), heavily masked by overgrowth, best preserved along W side. Fosse is covered with rushes, flag irises and nettles. Level interior is mainly covered by tall flag irises but has grassy clearing in N third.
