The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying pasture, ringed by higher ground. Site is incorporated into SW corner of field with field boundaries abutting at NW, N and SE. Roughly-circular area (32.1m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 2.5m). Bank, best accessed at NNE, is heavily masked by overgrowth elsewhere and much denuded at NE. Level interior is covered by mature coniferous trees; fallen branches cover much of interior surface. Marshy natural dip adjoins external bank face at E.
