The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture 30m N of a watercourse marking the townland boundary with Rahard and 50m W of a second watercourse. Ring-barrow (LI033-167----) lies 200m to NE. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 83; AP 4/3624) as a cursus. Visible as a raised linear earthwork (L 75m; Wth 8m) running NE-SW with an extension at SE that curves from SE-S-W on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. The NW end on the monument is intersected by a paleochannel or old watercourse running NW-SE on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. The monument may represent a trackway connecting an old watercourse with an enclosure.
