The National Monuments Service's description

On low lying wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 90m E of a townland boundary with Ballyloundash and 160m SW of a public road. Earthwork (LI032-105----) lies 95m to SW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 159: AP 4/3634) as a circular-shaped cropmark. Upstanding monument is visible as a circular-shaped earthwork (diam. 25m) defined by a bank with traces of an external fosse, as best seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012. Also visible on Digital Globe orthoimage and on Google Earth orthoimage 20/09/20.
