The National Monuments Service's description

Earthwork described in 1943 as following; 'This monument consists of a square platform surrounded by a continuous fosse. The entrance is not recognisable. The maximum height of the platform over the fosse-bottom is 2' 6" [0.76m). The platform measures 100' [30m] square overall. It is situated in poor marshy lowland on the bank of a stream. Not on the O.S. map' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 175). Earthwork is not visible today on Digital globe aerial photographs.
