The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, immediately W of a public road running N-S which also marks a townland boundary with Knockainy West. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 250: AP 5/2053) as a semicircular-shaped cropmark. Monument is visible as a semicircular-shaped cropmark (diam. 35m) immediately W of a public road running N-S, on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020. A faint oval-shaped cropmark (25m E-W; 21m N-S) abuts the monument to W, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012.
