The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, immediately S of a public road running E-W, 285m E of a townland boundary with Herbertstown (O’Grady) and 300m ENE of the village of Herbertstown, in the valley of the Camoge River which is 900m to W. Three conjoined barrows (LI032-199----) lie 75m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 154: AP 4/3607), as a semicircular-shaped cropmark intersected at N by the public road.
Monument is visible as a semicircular-shaped cropmark (C 31m) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020.
