The National Monuments Service's description

On the S side of a rocky knoll, in improved pasture, 285m SW of a townland boundary with Cloghaviller and 300m N of Herbertstown village, in the valley of the Camoge River which is 830m to W. Cashels (LI032-086/087/085----) lie 15m to N, 50m to NE and 100m to NW, respectively. Monument is not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 287: AP4/3636) as a subrectangular-shaped enclosure in the NW corner of a field. Upstanding monument is visible as a subrectangular-shaped area 50m E-W; 42m N-S) defined by a bank with fosse to E and S and by a field boundary to W and N, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020. A circular-shaped earthwork (23m N-S; 21m E-W) defined by a fosse is visible within the centre of the interior, as seen on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020.
