The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, 770m ENE of a townland boundary with Loughgur. Adjacent to and S of a complex of 12 monuments (LI032-073001-/013-). Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 146: AP 4/3639), as an L-shaped cropmark adjoining a linear field boundary running NNW-SSE, to E. Monument also recorded as an L-shaped cropmark by the Discovery Programme. Monument is clearly visible as an L-shaped earthwork (30m ENE-WSW; approx 40m NNW-SSE) defined by a fosse-like depression to ENE and SSE, on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/04/2006.
