The National Monuments Service's description

Lenihan (1866, 722) recorded that 'North-east of the town [Bruff] are some traces of Templeen or Templebodeen, said to have been built by the Templars in 1285'. No surface remains visible of any church site inside Teampuillin Grave Yard (LI032-113002-).
