In wet pasture 15m E of Morningstar River. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 59) of the region taken 03/11/1984 associated with Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraghleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Visible as circular -shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. visible as a pond feature on Google Earth orthoimages. Non-antiquity, remains of a pond or water-filled hollow rather than the remains of a prehistoric ring-barrow.
