The National Monuments Service's description
On flat pasture 850m SE of the junction with the townland boundaries of Ballintaw and Dunkip. A large enclosure (LI031-092----) lies 650m to NW and an enclosure (LI031-190----) is located 195m to SW. The barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps. It is visible on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013 as a circular enclosure (ext. dims. c. 37m N-S; 37m E-W) surrounded by a fosse. No entrance is visible. Identified by ASI aerial photographic survey 2005 as an enclosure. The site is visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 16/03/2016; 25/03/2017 and 24/09/2018.
