The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture on the N bank of the Morningstar River that lies 30m to SE which marks the townland boundary with Rathcannon. A conifer plantation is located to immediate S. Standing stone (LI031-151006-) lies 40m to SE. Not depicted on any OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 49; AP 5/2062) as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 15m) in the SE corner of field. Visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 04/04/2013 as a circular depression with traces of outer fosse visible from W-N-NE and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020 as a faint cropmark.
