The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture 270m NW of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Rathcannon. A conifer plantation is located 185m to S. Possible barrow (LI031- 151003-) lies 15m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 48) of the region taken 03/11/1984 associated with Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Visible as a cropmark on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020.
