The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 315m W of a townland boundary with Cloghnamanagh. Enclosure (LI031-031----) lies 200m to SE and ring-barrow (LI031-033----) lies 270m to E, respectively. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork (45m NE-SW; 37m NW-SE) which is truncated across the W edge by a public road. Referred to by O’Kelly (1944, 49) as Earthwork Type B and described as: ‘A circular platform on the edge of which there is a bank. It is surrounded by a fosse. The entrance is on the E side where the fosse is causewayed opposite a break in the bank. The overall diameter is 100’ (30m)’. Monument is visible as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork on OSi aerial orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe aerial orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 16/03/2016.
