The National Monuments Service's description

In forestry, 40m SE of a townland boundary with Dohora. Enclosure (LI030-111----) lies 180m to NE. Described in the SMR file as a banked circular-shaped enclosure with an external bank. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a large subcircular-shaped multivallate earthwork (80m NE-SW; 70m NW-SE). Monument is visible as a large roughly circular-shaped, tree-planted earthwork on Archaeological Survey of Ireland aerial photographs (ASIAP 322, 12 & 13), on OSi orthophotos taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
