The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, atop low rise. Roughly circular area (30m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by denuded earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.5m) except at SE where truncated by field wall with NE-SW axis. Slight fosse evident at N (Wth 3.5m; D 0.1m). According to local information enclosing bank stood to height of c. 0.5m until partially levelled in 1980. Interior under pasture and slopes down towards centre.
