The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.95m; ext. H 1.8m) with external fosse (Wth 1.9m; D 0.8m). Bank is best preserved WSW->NNW. Fosse evident all round though deepest and waterlogged E->S. At NNW cattle accessing interior have word gap across enclosing element (Wth c. 2.5m). Field boundary skirts external edge of fosse N->NE. Shallow drain on NNE-SSW axis opens into fosse at SSW. Apart from narrow band around perimeter, interior is covered by dense overgrowth.
