The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture, on gentle NW-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank (ext. H 1.65m) well preserved all round apart from W->N where some erosion has occurred. Fosse (Wth 1.7m; D 0.3m) is waterlogged along E arc. Interior is covered by dense overgrowth. Field boundary, indicated on 1923 OS 6-inch map as abutting bank at ENE, has been removed.
