The National Monuments Service's description

In marshy pasture, at base of NE-facing slope and immediately S of stream. Circular area (17.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank NNE->E (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.35m) and defined E->NNE by scarped edge (H 1.1m; Wth 2m), with external fosse (Wth 3.2m; D 0.3m) N->SSW. Scarp has been eroded by cattle, especially at NW. Gap at SE is covered by overgrowth. Interior, overgrown with nettles and briars, is level save for dip down in SE quadrant towards gap. Shallow drain (Wth 1.4m; D 0.2m) leads from fosse into stream at N. Field boundary, indicated on 1923 OS 6-inch map immediately S of enclosure, has been removed.
