The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on SE-facing slope immediately below brow of low hillock. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m), has been levelled. However, curving section of field boundary NNW->NNE is higher (H 1.45m) than surrounding field boundaries and probably incorporates enclosing bank. Band (Wth 4.6m) of higher and more luxuriant grass evident SW->W, probably indicates line of infilled fosse.
