The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.75m). Interior used as dump for earth and stones; dump extends over triangular area (15.5m x 34m) to NE of enclosure. Two field boundaries, shown on 1923 OS 6-inch map abutting bank at NE, have been removed.
