The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture with restricted views in all directions, 70m N of the townland boundary with Oolahills East. Ringfort (TS058-001----) located 310m to SE. The site is depicted as an oval-shaped earthwork (ext. dims. 28m N-S; 33m E-W) on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map and on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. The monument is visible as an earthwork in pasture on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Inspected by the ASI in 1999 and described as a slightly raised oval shaped area. The enclosure is visible on a Google Earth orthoimage taken 11/03/2014 when a recent farm drainage channel was excavated along the N edge of the site along the field boundary. The monument is faintly visible on the latest Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
