The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture on a low rise, with good views to the N to SE and reasonable views in other directions. Holy well called ‘Tobernarova’ (LI025-023----) lies 140m to SW. The site is depicted as a circular-shaped earthwork on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map and as a circular platform (ext. dims. 43m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by a fosse on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. The enclosure is visible as roughly circular-shaped are with trees growing around the bank and fosse on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Inspected by the ASI in 1999 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (int. diam. c. 22m) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank (Wth 4.6m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) mainly reduced to a scarp and an external fosse (Wth 3.6m; D 0.45m) with causewayed entrance (Wth 2m) at E . The interior was level, dry and clear of vegetation. The fosse is visible around the ringfort with the exception of the E side where it has been filled in. Visible as a circular-shaped enclosure on an ASI aerial photograph (ASIAP (119) 5). The ringfort is visible on latest Google Earth orthoimages taken 11/03/2014 and 18/11/2018.

See attached sketch plan surveyed and drawn by the ASI, ASI aerial photo showing the enclosure looking SW and Google Earth orthoimages
