The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise (240ft/73m), planted with young forestry, with moderate to good views in all directions and 268m E of a townland boundary with Ballyvalode. Enclosures (LI024-014/013----) lie 135m to NW and 240m to WSW, respectively. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a suboval-shaped earthwork. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 1999 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (26m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth 3.5m; H 0.6m). There is a possible entrance via a ramp (Wth 3.5m) across the scarp at SSW. The interior is level, dry and obscured by overgrowth around the perimeter and across the N quadrant. Monument is visible as an unplanted circular-shaped, tree-lined earthwork on OSi orthophotos taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
