The National Monuments Service's description

On a NE-facing slope, in improved pasture, 110m to W of a stream which also marks a townland boundary with Nicker. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. A ring-barrow (LI024-127----) lies 190m to NE. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as an oval-shaped area (21m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (Wth 4.0m; H 0.6m) which is best preserved from SW-W-N-ENE. Monument is raised on the N side to compensate for hillslope. An ESB pole is situated within the N quadrant and a modern pump house and a second ESB pole are 10m to W. Monument is visible as an oval-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
