The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a broad ridge. Oval area (18m NW-SE; 24m NE-SW) defined by scarped edge (Wth 1.2-1.45m; H 0.2-0.3m) with external fosse (Wth 3.65m; D 0.05m) evident W-NW, NNW-N and SSE. Monument bisected by field boundary (long axis NW-SE). Interior is level and under grass.
