The National Monuments Service's description

In flat pasture abutting a small stream to the N, 120m SE of the townland boundary with Garrison. The monument lies 50m S of a ditch-barrow (LI024-227----). The enclosure is not depicted on historic OSi maps, nor is it visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 163.2; AP 4/3671) as a U-shaped enclosure abutting the stream. The site is not visible on the Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
