The National Monuments Service's description

In flat pasture 16m E of a small stream, 120m SE of the townland boundary with Garrison. The monument lies 50m N of an enclosure (LI024-228----). The ditch-barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps, but it is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 163.1; AP 4/3671) as a circular enclosure (ext. diam. c. 16m) and consists of a central circular area surrounded by a fosse. The ditch-barrow is visible on the Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018. There appears to be a ring-barrow (Wth 9.5m) located 35 NE of the ditch-barrow (LI024-227----).
