The National Monuments Service's description
On flat pasture, 200m WNW of ring-barrow (LI024-210----) and 150m SE of the townland boundary with Newtown North. The enclosure is not depicted on OSi historic maps. The enclosure is visible as a rectangular earthwork on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and more faintly on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 17 AP 4/3622) as a rectangular enclosure (ext. dims. c. 35m NE-SW; 40m NW-SE). The enclosure is visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018. The site may be a medieval moated site.
