The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, with railway line immediately to NE and a stream 160m to SW which marks townland boundary with Gortaclareen. Surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (14m E-W; 12m N-S) defined by a scarp (Wth 1.85m; H 0.5m) that has been quarried from NE-E-ENE and at WNW. There is a steep downslope to N between the monument and the railway embankment (long-axis ESE–WNW). Monument visible as a roughly oval-shaped partially scrub covered earthwork on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.

See attached sketch plan and cross-sections surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
