The National Monuments Service's description
On poorly drained pasture 60m E of public road. Enclosure (LI024-312----) located 85m to NE, enclosure (LI024-168----) 130m to E. Not depicted on OS maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 113; AP 4/3676) as the cropmark of a rectangular-shaped enclosure (approx. dims. 42m N-S x 40m E-W). OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 shows a number of linear features running E-W that may represent land drainage channels. Not visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. Could be the remains of post-1700 land reclamation works rather than the remains of a possible moated site.
See attached Google Earth orthophoto and Bruff aerial survey image labelled Bruff 113.
