The National Monuments Service's description
On N-facing slope, in pasture, 37m NW of the townland boundary with Bunavie. A church and burial ground (LI024-010001-/002-) lie 130m to N, a holy well (LI024-010003-) lies 160m to NNW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map as a rectangular-shaped tree-planted enclosure (approx. dims. 28m NW-SE; 23m NE-SW) and not as an antiquity. Not depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map, where the area is bisected by a linear field boundary running NNW-SSE. Possible monument identified as a semicircular-shaped earthwork by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 119: AP 4/3719). Visible as a semicircular-shaped earthwork (35m ENE-WSW; 27m NNW-SSE), to the E side of a field boundary, on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018. There is no visible trace of the earthwork on the WSW side of the field boundary. Possibly a tree-plantation of post-1700 date as depicted on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map.
