The National Monuments Service's description

In improved level pasture, on the floodplain of the Dead River and the Mulkear River which are 265m and 285m to NE respectively. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument identified as a circular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 135: AP 4/3723). Monument is visible as a circular-shaped earthwork (approx. diam. 26m) on ASI aerial photograph (ASIAP 118, 9) taken 23/08/2000 and on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and is not readily visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
