The National Monuments Service's description

In wet, level pasture, with excellent views of Knockseefin to WNW and 45m NW of a townland boundary with Ballyhurst. A cluster of six possible barrows (LI024-049002-/007-), with enclosure (LI024-049001-) in centre of field. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 90.03; AP 4/3678) as a ring-barrow.
Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (4m NE-SW; 3.5m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (Wth 1.15m; H 0.16-0.2m) with fosse (Wth 3.55-4.55m; D 0.15-0.18m) visible from NE-E-S-W-NW and a possible outer bank (Wth 4.75m; int. H 0.18m; ext. H 0.18m) visible from NE-ENE-E. The monument is open from NW-N-NE where it is truncated by a drain running NE-SW. The interior is level and grass covered. Monument is visible as a faint, roughly oval-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
