The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating upland pasture, on a steep NE-facing slope. Within field system (LI024-044001-) and 115m NE of hut site (LI024-305----). Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Enclosure identified on oblique aerial photographs taken 10/07/1967 (CUCAP AYO036). Described by O'Dwyer (1959, 78) as following; 'This appears to have been a small circular ring-fort of about 50' [15m] in diameter. It is now very much denuded, the bank practically levelled and a ditch is not visible'. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as no surface remains visible. A natural shelf of ground is visible across this area. The townland boundary with Pallashill kinks to respect a depression due NNE of the possible monument. Levelled monument is not visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on ASIAP (309, 28, 30), on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
See attached Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
