The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, on a WNW-facing slope. No visible surface trace. Named on current edition OS 6-inch map as 'Castle (site of)'. Trackway depicted on same exists to immediate W. Stone wall (L c. 4m; h 1.3m) rebuilt on W-side of roadway in area of castle site. Scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.5m) c. 4m to E of roadway.
