The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating pasture on a low ridge 15m SW of the small stream that marks the townland boundary with Glen. Enclosure (LI024-158----) lies 60m to SE. The barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps. It is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 as a circular feature and is faintly visible on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified during a later ASI examination of Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff AP 4/3681) as a ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 8m). The site is visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
