The National Monuments Service's description

In generally level pasture 175m E of a townland boundary with Boherroe. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as a suboval-shaped earthwork truncated by a farm track to S. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. 20m) defined by a scarp from SW-W-N-E-SSE best preserved (Wth 3.8m; H 0.9m) from SW-W-N-NE and levelled (Wth 1m; H 0.2m) from NE-E-SSE with possible entrance (overall Wth 6m; basal Wth 1.5m) at NW. Monument is truncated by a track (long-axis E-W) across the S-sector which is cut (D 1.6m) into the hillslope. The interior is level and grass covered. Monument is enclosed on all sides by field boundaries. According to local information it is known as a ‘moat’. Monument is enclosed in a small field and over-shadowed by field boundaries so it is not visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, or on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.

See attached sketch plan and cross-section surveyed and drawn by the ASI in 2008 and Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
