The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying improved, wet pasture, abutting the townland boundary with Caherline. A ringfort (LI023-049----) is located within the W corner of the field system. Three ring-barrows (LI023-181-/183-/255----) are within the E end of the field system. The field system is partially depicted on the OSi 1840 ed. 6-inch and 1897 ed. 25-inch map. It is visible as a relic field system on OSi Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-2013. Identified as a co-axial field system by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 276: AP 4/3689). The field boundaries are orientated NNE-SSW and are roughly spaced 50m apart. Nine parallel boundaries form part of the system (ext. dims. 350m NE-SW; 490m SE-NW). The W terminus appears to curve around the ringfort (LI023-049----). The field system is partially visible on Digital Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
