The National Monuments Service's description
On flat pasture. The site is located 125m S of the townland boundary with Ballysallagh, 260m SW of St John the Baptist’s Well (LI023-108----) and 440m SW of the medieval church and graveyard at Rathjordan (LI023-098001/2-). The enclosure is not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 127; AP 4/3660) as a circular enclosure defined by a fosse (ext. diam. c. 30m). No surface remains visible today on the most recent Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
