The National Monuments Service's description

In rough, level pasture with coniferous plantation to N. Circular area (dims. 19.5m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by earthen bank (Wth 13.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.9m) almost reduced in places to a scarp, with an external fosse (basal Wth 3.65m; total Wth 14.35m; D 0.6m). Possible entrance (basal Wth 5m; total Wth 10m) at ESE.
