The National Monuments Service's description

In gently undulating pasture. Rectangular structure (dims. internal 5.7m N-S; 13m E-W) defined by remains of sod-covered stone wall (Wth 0.8m; L 1.2m; ext. H 1.55m) of roughly coursed and mortared limestone at N, E and S; best preserved at W-end of S wall. Collapse along W-side of monument, S-end of E-wall and off-centre to W in S-wall. Interior is higher than exterior at W, where wall has collapsed inwards and is grassed over. Low earthen mound encloses wall to S and W-sides; gap off-centre to W of S-side. Interior covered by bracken and briars. Remains of friary of Franciscan Third Order Regular (Gwynn and Hadcock 1970, 270).
