The National Monuments Service's description

On low-lying, improved wet pasture 10m E of a land drain and a plot of forestry and 15m S of a farm trackway. A townland boundary with Friarstown lies 200m to E and the Camoge River lies 230m to S. Ring-barrow (LI023-243----) lies 14m to E. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 13401: AP 4/3656). Monument is visible as a circular-shaped earthwork (diam. 15m) on OSi aerial orthophoto taken 2005-2012 and is evident as an oblong-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/03/2017.
