The National Monuments Service's description
Located in low-lying pasture. Comprises a circular, saucer-shaped area (diam. 30m) which is enclosed by an external bank (Wth 7m, H 2m) and internal ditch (Wth 10m, D. 0.5m) giving the monument an overall diameter of c. 70m. There is a waterlogged area in the SE which coincides with a break in the enclosing bank. There is another break in the bank in the N which coincides with a causeway in the ditch (O'Kelly, 1942, 90).
