The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 40m NE of a public road, which also marks a townland boundary with Cloghnamanagh. Not depicted on OSi historic maps, although the larger rectangular-shaped field is annotated ‘Glebe’ on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. This church owned glebe land was tentatively identified by the SMR as a possible monastic grange (SMR File; GSIAP 449/450). Monument is visible as a vague trace of two linear cropmarks which may define the NE and SE sides of a rectangular-shaped earthwork with the road marking a third side to SW and open to NW as best seen on Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/04/2006. Two other linear cropmarks running NE-SW are parallel to SE.
