The National Monuments Service's description
In gently undulating pasture with moderate views in all directions. Enclosure (LI022-083----) 90m to SW. Surveyed by the ASI in 2000 when described as a raised circular shaped area (diam. 38m) defined by a scarped edge (H 1.7m) and external fosse (Wth 1.8m; D 0.3m) visible from E through S to NW. A field boundary runs along the top of the scarped edge from SW to NW while field boundaries intersect the monument in the E, SSE and NW. Access to interior is via a modern ramp (Wth 4m) at NW. The interior is level. The outline of the monument is clearly visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 14/02/2020.
