The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight N-facing slope, in gently undulating pasture, with moderate to restricted views in all directions. Depicted on the revised 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork. A fulacht fiadh (LI022-012----) lies 150m to NW and a moated site (LI022-011----) lies 230m to SW. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2001 and described as a slightly raised, roughly circular-shaped area (16m E-W; 15m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.1m; H .025m) mainly reduced to a scarp. A short portion of the scarp is levelled from WSW-W-WNW giving a slight crescentric shape to the monument. The interior is undulating and clear of overgrowth. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
See attached sketch plan by the ASI and Google Earth orthoimage.
