The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight W-facing slope, in pasture, with moderate to good views in all directions, 30 m S of a townland boundary with Garranroe. Possible monument not depicted as an antiquity on OS historic mapping. The area is depicted on the 1840 OS 6-inch map as a long trapezoidal-shaped marshy area (approx. 48m N-S; 29m E-W). Monument identified as a possible enclosure (Site 35) during the Croom bypass excavations. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as no surface remains visible. Possible monument is visible as a faint oval-shaped cropmark (15m E-W; 12m N-S) on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 25/03/2017. Of doubtful antiquity.

See attached Google Earth orthoimage.
