The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on steep S-facing hill slope. Roughly circular area (18.3m N-S; 20.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.75m), with shallow external fosse (Wth 1.4m; D 0.35m) S->W. Bank, lowest NNE->SE (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.6m), has a greater internal height where there is fall in from higher ground along NW arc (ext. H 0.65m; int. H 2.1m). Dip in bank (Wth 5.1m) at SE. Interior, under pasture, slopes down gently to SE.
